P.T., Director of Physical Therapy
Jerry received his degree from the University of Montana. As a strong manual therapist, Jerry has extensive training and continuing education in treating the shoulder, knee and spine. He also specializes in custom foot orthotics (using the casting method). Jerry has experience in working with all age groups and diagnoses including sports injuries, work injuries, chronic conditions and pre-post operative care.
Tom graduated from the University of Montana with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 1999. He also has an undergraduate degree in chemistry, a minor in physiology and a master’s degree in biochemistry. Tom has worked in a variety of patient settings in Coeur d’Alene, including; outpatient work, home health for 2-3 years, and in skilled nursing facilities emphasizing neurological rehabilitation.
Tina received her degree from Loma Linda University School of Physical Therapy in Loma Linda, California. She has twenty years experience in outpatient private practice and home health care working with adults, geriatrics and children. Trained in: manual therapy, treatment of the spine and extremities, post surgery rehab, vestibular, balance and gait, myofascial release, post cancer care, lymphedema management of upper and lower extremities including manual lymph drainage massage.
Office Coordinator-Coeur d'Alene
Kathy joined the staff at Lakewood Physical Therapy in March 2007. She brings with her over 14 years experience working in a physical therapy clinic as well as many years working as a medical assistant and a radiology technician. She coordinates all patient care, assists with administrative functions and day to day operations of Lakewood Physical Therapy.
Tammy Engen is based out of our Hayden office. Tammy started working at Kootenai Medical Center in 1977 as a Dietary aide, where she worked her way up to Dietary Buyer/purchaser for the department for 23 years. Tammy started working with Cliff in 2005, doing scheduling, insurance, and office support. Tammy joined our team in November of 2011.
Jessica graduated from Whitworth University in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. Jessica joined the team at Lakewood Physical Therapy in August 2013. She aspires to continue her education in Physical Therapy, as well as incorporate personal training and promote healthy living.
Jamie graduated from North Idaho College in Spring 2014 with an A.A.S degree. She is waiting to be accepted into a Physical Therapist Assistant program in the Fall of 2015. She hopes to work on military base hospitals around the country, as well as pediatrics. Jamie joined Lakewood Physical Therapy in December 2014.
